Newaygo State Park is a 99-site rustic campground and day use area sitting atop 20-foot embankments overlooking the Hardy Dam Pond, a six-mile flooding of the Muskegon River. The campground noted for its large, private sites and scenic beauty with a 20-30 foot forested buffer between sites.
This is a nice tour through the park. You may walk or if you can't you can drive to all but the last location.

Played with rootee2t on our Oregon. We were having trouble getting good satellite, so we found ourselves in the incorrect location several times. Having trouble with the answers seems to crash the Oregon. We quickly learned to save the game after every answer. Then near the end we thought we hit a fatal flaw in the game, and we were concerned that we had traveled the long distance and wasted quite a bit of daylight on this cache. But were able to provide a guess that worked. Thanks for the Wherigo. Sorry for the low rating, but comparing this to awesome and good cartridges, we don't have much choice.

A nice tour through the park on a nice day, before going on to find more geocaches.

Having a good time in Newaygo State Park. Everything worked good using my IPhone but the Oregon did not fair so well, as normal it is save save save all the time with the Garmin. Thank you Mickey and Goofy for placing and maintaining the cache. Found this cache on Fri, Jun, 14, 2013 at about 9:15 AM for my 20255th cache find.

As this was my first trip to this SP I figured this cache would be a good way to discover the area. We made a few wrong turns to start with but it was all in the exploring the park. We ran the cartridge on both the IPhone and the Oregon, both work without any trouble at all. Thanks for the tour.
