You're a newspaper reporter assigned to cover a mysterious traveling circus. For whatever reason, there's nothing in the archive about this group.

About This Cartridge

A large circus tent has suddenly appeared on the edge of town. The timing of the new arrival is certainly curious. There was no advance warning, no arrangement between the promoter and city officials. What's more, the "big top" is completely black, an odd choice of color for a circus structure. The look of the tent is a bit unsettling, but is there a story here?

This cartridge will lead you to a geocache of the same name (GC1FJTA).

Starting Location

A ticket booth is nearby. (Be sure to bring pen and paper with you when playing this cartridge.)

Wherigo application on my Android doesn't seem to be user friendly, so we used by wife's I-phone and made the trek through each location without too much difficulty. It is a nice park, and nice to be outside on such a beautiful sunny day. Once we reached the final destination, the Wherigo app seemed to freeze on that spot and did not direct us to the actual location of the cache, so we followed the hint and looked around in the general area. The Caching Budha was with us today, as we were able to locate the cache in the vicinity of the last destination. On our way to the car parked in the lower parking lot, the I-phone finally gave an extra clue but unfortunately didn't give us the unlock code. Will write to the owner of the cache for additional help secure the code and log it in the Wherigo location. Thanks for the hide, nice day out.

This was a fun adventure and a little easier than my first one. Nice park!

Penzee and I had fun with this Wherigo. This is our second one and we did much better with this one than the first one, so we are learning. However, we were not able to find the cache at the end. Bummer.

Completed the cartridge with Papa EGTH, but we couldn't find the cache container, so we will log a DNF on GC.com

This was a fun cartridge, but you need to take good notes and read all the previous geocache logs to see modifications by the whereigo creator. I plan to try all the other whereigo games by this author.
