About This Cartridge
Remember this game board from when you were young. The game of Chutes and Ladders.
This Whereigo is based about as close to Chutes and Ladders as I could come up with. In the board game you spin a wheel and move so many spaces. Pure luck or lack of lands you on a square where you either slide back down or a ladder that you climb faster to the finish.
If you are lucky you will go straight to the finish. If you make a wrong decision you will go backwards to have to answer the questions again. It is mostly about luck and memory to get to the finish.
Depending on your choices at each stage will dictate how long this game is. At best the complete cache will have you walk 1.5 miles round trip. If you answer wrong you will slide back and have more time to the game.
Personally I think doing this game with a group but individually answering would take some forward and others backwards and be fun to see who comes out the winner in the end. I can bet you will be walking past each ot

FTF!!! and I earned it!! Now that my shivering has stopped, I can type this log. Brrrr. Saw the posting last night and decided to go get a little exercise and try for a first to find this morning. I emailed the CO to say I was heading out to give it a go. I got there and began my trek. Shortly afterward, Barasaur shows up on his bike to kindly escort, or more likely, heckle me. I can honestly say, I got zero help and heard "this is awesome" every time I had to go back. I even asked for a ride on the back of the bike. He just laughed at me. Despite the lack of help, I enjoyed the company. I got a LOT of exercise and learned that I seem to excel at chutes. Ladders, not so much. At the end, I had one less chute than I had ladders. Which means, I didn't fare so well with my choices and had to go back a LOT. The trail is easy but be prepared to do some walking. All in all, a really fun time and I love the chutes and ladders game concept. Thanks Barasaur for putting this together and for making all those trips back more enjoyable.
Note the suggestion of doing this wherigo with multiple people doing it at the same time. I would definitely think about that if I were you. Would be hilarious.
