A short tour of Arkansas Tech
About This Cartridge
Cache Description
This is a Wherigo geocache that will take you on a brief tour of Arkansas Tech's campus. You will need to download the cartridge, titled "A Tech Wherigo Tour", from the Wherigo web site into a smart phone or Wherigo GPS device.
Our family has had many interactions with Arkansas Tech since moving to Russellville in 1991. Our children attended many camps, including band camp where our daughters worked many years. Tech camps represented some of our children's first taste of freedom as they lived on campus for a whole week. Several family members have graduated from this school with bachelor and master's degrees while one of us worked on campus for several years. We've sat in the football bleachers in all types of weather as we watched our two daughters perform with the Arkansas Tech Band of Distinction.
This tour is best done during late afternoon or weekend hours since there is limited visitor parking.

Played the cartridge this afternoon after work. Great day and I enjoyed walking around the campus answering questions. Walked through one building and visited some landmarks again. Great fun and I enjoyed the cartridge and finding the cache. Uploaded the gws file to unlock the cartridge. Thanks for setting this up.

I loved going on our first wherigo in North Little Rock, and was so excited to see some close to home. Loved going on this one. The hardest part for me was entering the confirmation code, and after I followed directions it worked. Love going through our old school.
