You will play the part of Ford Prefect, Authur Dent's friend, in this epic, but much abbreviated, intergalactic, interactive adventure based on The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which begins on the planet Earth in the mid 1980's.
About This Cartridge
This is the story of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. To tell the story of the book, it's best to tell the story of some of the minds behind it. A human, from the planet Earth, was one of them, though as our story opens, he no more knows his destiny than a tea-leaf knows the history of the East India Company. His name is Arthur Dent, he is a six-foot tall ape descendant, and someone is trying to drive a bypass through his home.
You will play the part of Ford Prefect, Authur Dent's friend, in this epic, but much abbreviated, intergalactic, interactive adventure which begins on the planet Earth in the mid 1980's.
Ford is from the red giant star, Betelgeuse (pronounced "Beetle-juice"). Try to say that 3 time fast...
Just remember, if everything seems to be going the wrong way, DON'T PANIC!
Starting Location
This adventure starts at the entrance to the Ford Park parking lot in Allen, TX.

The cartridge was a bit different than some wherigos I have completed, but it didn't let me get too far off the right path. Definitely got enough exercise for the day with this one. Thematically appropriate, very fun to complete, and I enjoyed searching for the final. Thanks for the wherigo!

Out grabbing a few caches with techiegrl64 to work toward completion of the 7 Souvenirs of August. This was my first Wherigo cache and was glad to complete it and sign the log sheet. I learned the importance of not straying outside the universe along the journey. Thanks for the effort put into developing this trip thru the "Universe".

Stopped by with EagleRE to take a walk through the galaxy, in a land far, far......oh wait, wrong story line. ;) It was a hot, hot, HOT day and the AC in the spaceship was broken (the thermometer read "42"), but we managed to avoid any collisions with comets or unfriendly aliens and eventually completed our mission, exploring new planets and new civilizations... Uh, I think the heat has gotten to me! So long, and thanks for all the fish! :)
