A two mile handicap accessible journey through an amazing Orlando garden park.
This Wherigo cartridge will take you on a two mile tour of the 50 acre Harry P. Leu Gardens, Orlando's hidden gem. It is laid out on paved pathways, (handicapable accessible!), through amazing floral displays, ending in a rather unusual container.
Follow the romantic ramblings of our Hero, the venerable Prince Stoo-Wert, as he seeks to rescue his one true love, Princess Nahn-Sea, from the villainous wizard Marfan.
Sounds like fun, eh?

We've had the Leu Gardens on our "to-do" list for some time. Pile on geocaching, a love story and a picture perfect day and it was clear, today was the day to visit the gardens and seek Nahn-Sea's heart!
We had a little trouble navigating the first couple steps, although operator error cannot be ruled out. For some reason the cartridge just didn't want to advance. The wonderful lady at the front desk must have thought we were crazy going back and forth, back and forth, and back again! Finally we moved on and the remainder of the cartridge operated smoothly. I saved frequently though, for some added insurance!
The highlight for the day was being stopped by three young teenagers who asked us to take a group photo for them. Afterwards, one of them commented "you know, in a totally random way, you two look pretty cool"! Out of the mouth of babes, the old farts have been validated!!!
The gardens were beautiful as we navigated each of the zones. It would be interesting to see how much it changes by completing the tour at different times of the year. We signed the logbook, left one of our signature compass rose tokens, and traded trackables. A great Wherigo!!! Recommended!!!

What a great experience to search through these beautiful Gardens! I so enjoyed my visit here and the Wherigo was a plus! The ending was a surprise. This Wherigo was very well set up and coordinated and the mixture of humor and and sarcasm was delightful! Lovely surroundings and all in all a great experience! Thanks for the fun time today!

What an amazing experience! I was in town for a volleyball tournament and jim32809 and I get together each time we are in the same area (he travels for DCI) and I wanted to do some Wherigos. He hadn't done this one and knew the cachers being referenced so that made it all the more enjoyable. Thanks for a great visit to a really beautiful area. This one receives a favorite point.

I am sad to admit that I have lived in Orlando for most of my 42 years (now only blocks from the gardens), and had – before today – never yet been inside. This was a fantastic way to tour an amazing garden! We spent just at one hour walking the grounds, visiting the highlights and completing the cartridge. Thanks for all the hard work and creativity!
