Back in the summer of ought-five we had the ideer that the GACacheCows would be the first in Cobb County to set up one of them there letterbox hybrid caches. And by cracky, that's pre-xactly what we done. After slaving over it for many minutes it was ready and we was all a-twitter. We headed over to KP (that's Kenworth Park in case y'all haven't figured that out) to set 'er up. However, there's another side to this story, one that has never been told. Everbody was sworn to secrecy. But now it's time to tell the tale.
Not too many people know it but that park was a working cattle ranch about that time. They was so far back on the proppity most folks never even knew they was there. We snuck in quiet-like and set up the cache but we was so excited that we got to hootin' and hollerin' and somehow scared the cows. They tore off in a bunch all over the farm with us in close pursuit.

What a cool time, rode up from the southside in the rain and got kinda wet before I stopped and put on my gear. proceeded to get completely soaked while working on this and 2 other caches in the park. I think i now need to create one on the southside. TFTC

This was my 1st Wherigo experience. I'd been interested in doing the local wherigo's but didn't have a GPRr which would do them. I didn't need a new handheld but I was thinking I wouldn't mind upgrading my auto reciever ~some day. Well HH is taking my auto unit to NY with him next week so now seemed like a good time to get that upgrade! It came in mail yesterday, and I did play with it a little bit but it was a LONG day at work and all I got around to doing was downloading a couple of cartridges.
Today was a busy day. Started it at church, then work and I just HAD to get my nails done. You ladies know what geocaching does to finger nails! and it ain't pretty. But I'm thinking I'd have some time between getting my nails done and meeting HH for dinner SO I texted Leafer (hey I needed somebody to go rooting for the cache, afterall I was gonna have fresh nails ) and asked her to join me making sure she knew there was NO guarantee this would work or I would know what I was doing AND Barbara of SIA was able to come too. It's amazing how much debate 3 ladies with a clue can do to get the right number. It was FUN! I am so looking forward to the next whereigo adventure

Really enjoyed this Wherigo experience! I was in Atlanta from Denver for the weekend and was looking forward to this. Not being familiar with the area I had quite a time figuring out how to get to the starting point - ended up having to walk about half a mile to get to it. Once there, I played with no issues and really enjoyed the story and the interaction with items at the site. Great job!

This is the first Wherigo I have been able to upload the saved game. It worked great and was fun for us to complete. Many little league ball players about the park today. TFTC

This was the most fun I've had with a wherigo so far. Loved the whole story as I went along. I only wish I would have found the cache. Oh well, next time in the area I will try it again.
