This was my first Wherigo cache, so I'm not going to be overly critical of my experience. I had a lot of fun once I figured out that since I was using an iPhone, I could download the cartridge for the pocket PC and it would work. That was not immediately clear to me, for I saw only options for that and the actual branded GPS devices availalbe on the website page, which I was accessing from my iPhone, after having installed the app from iTunes at home. It frustrated me at first that I didn't find an option for the iPhone or Android phone cartridges, or any way to turn them on while out in the field. I took the gamble that my iPhone was going to act "as if" it was a pocket PC and it worked! Then I had no trouble at all with the way the program worked. I got to within 10 feet or so of the location and the questions popped up right away. Navigating the park was pretty easy as well. I did all this without reading any "directions" about the app, just used the GPS-sense that I've developed from downloading other GPS type apps onto my iPhone and going with it. I like to see where I am on a map, and that picture with the pins was great! The pin representing me even moved when I did. The final was easy enough to find using geosense. I never did find a pointer to use to guide me to that, so if that function is missing, that might be nice.
