Spent most of Sunday with SquishyD and MischiefD walking the route, but kids got tied before the steps and ice-cream became the focus. Today I completed the challenge and was glad I didn't take the kids as the steps would have been a nightmare. A lovely wherigo and an interesting route. TFTC and the step challenge.

Ich war mit einer Touristengruppe über den Jahreswechsel auf Sizilien. Unser Guide hatte uns schon ein wenig von Taormina gezeigt. Am letzten Tag des Jahres war ich anschließend allein unterwegs und machte eine private Stadtführung mit diesem netten Wherigo. Schließlich habe ich mich dann doch entschlossen, den Bereich, der aus Sicherheitsgründen vorübergehend gesperrt war, zu betreten. Die Dose war dann schnell gefunden. Hat Spaß gemacht, mit vernünftigem Logbuch wäre es mir auch einen FP wert gewesen.

A very nice WhereIGo in a beautiful town ! But a lot of walking to do until one reaches the final, so it took us two days to manage this cache. The final location is quiet nice as well, so I will leave a Favorite Point here.

when we were planning what to see in Taormina, this cache seemed to be a good start. we already knew some places we wanted to visit there, so I can say that this wherigo took us to almost all of them. definitely a good choice of interesting places to see! of course the great views from the final part and the cache itself. it is definitely worthy to use this cache by tourists, can highly recommend it. it took us 2,5 hours to finish it, so also, the ideal amount of time.

Der brachte uns dann doch ins Schwitzen.. Es wäre schön, wenn es ein Rundweg wäre, aber so war es auch abwechslungsreich.

This was a nice little walk in Taormina. The cartridge is working fine I was enjoying this alternative tour guide.
