BeJoyful and I are on a quest to grab caches for 365 consecutive days. We only have about 2 months to go, and it has been a real challenge. Today we are down in the Vallejo area, and I had to run to the depot for some supplies. Since we have a busy day today, I was on my own to grab the required COTD. I am the only one that seams to enjoy Wherigos, probably because they don't run very well on my Droid. It really is frustrating at times, but today I was determined to complete one of the previous DNFs. I started with the ANCHOR, and finally got to Location #2, where it decided to get within 16 feet, but not trigger the cartridge. Sigh... so off to the second problem child... Mare Island Commissary by A Team Vallejo. As I drove in it it immediately completed Location #1 (?!?!?!?!?!), and went where we had never gone before. The cartridge worked perfectly after that, and soon the prize was in hand!!! WOO HOO!, I can't believe it! Cache is in great shape, and perhaps we will try another Wherigo tomorrow. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment! ` LDNomad

Had a blast with this one, but had a little trouble on my Oregon 450 as it froze a few times (probably operator error) so had to go through it 3 times. There were a couple people parked in the lot that probably were really wondering about us!

I struggled a bit to get started on this one - and, once started, how to proceed to the first stage. Had to double back a couple of times, but finally got on track, and a few minutes later, was saving the Gingerbread Man and sneaking the cache past Billy Goat.
Thanks for the effort to put this together, A Team Vallejo!

First Wherigo I've seen done by car. Didn't read cache page fully before arriving, so thought I was in for a military history lesson. While disappointed on one hand, quickly recovered and went to chasing down that escapee. Also had a false start until we figured out what was going on, then had a bit of confusion in the middle until we figured out that the helpful suggestion was really a command. As I slowed, zipped around, slowed dZogchen was wishing she had taken the dramamine I had offered her earlier! Wasn't at all what I had expected, but had fun. TFTC!

Loved the idea of not having to get out of my car. Had to remember these are done differently. This one reminded me of Train Heist but more movement. I had to start over only once because of a phone call that distracted me not the cartridge. This one I think was done the best for this style. Story was cute yet short. I had no problem with the zones. Lots of fun. But didn't seem to get the completion code for this one. Not sure if it was me or the app.

First wherigo for findingbill. My second, after dadfish's Tweet, completed well over a couple years ago, I think. I really love this concept, but do have serious issues with a platform that is inherently riddled with problems due to the core programming being faulty. I wish they'd spend some more time on this and fix it because it has so very much potential!
That being said, we enjoyed these a lot and they have shoved me closer to taking some time to create a few of my own for when you guys come to this neck o' the woods. I have a really cool idea about some Norton Buffalo stuff, a bit of chicken history... who knows.
